My be all foursmathers already know this teacher. Besides teaching ICT, the man who was born in Gianyar,17th of July 1965 is also given the trust to be the coach of the FCC (Foursma Computer Club). The man from Gianyar started his career as a teacher when he first taught at SMAN Lateri, Ambon on the 12th of March 1990 as a Biology teacher. When he taught in Ambon, he was trusted to be a Biology Laboratory Coordinator. Then on the 31 st of March 1994, he moved to teach at SMAN Banjarangkan, Klungkung there, he was also trusted to be a Biology Laboratory Coordinator. On the 7th of june 2000, he came to foursma.
At foursma, he develoved himself more. The challenge to be a profesional teacher is just in front of him. Teachers and students are all competing to show their ability. In his 3 years of teaching, he feels that there are many things that are happening. One of the most notable achievement was when one of his student IB Artadana had the change to represent Indonesia in the International Biology Olympiads 2001, which was held in Latvia. There, his student achieved an Honourable Mention, Not only that, he also successfully brought his two students to the International Biology Olympiads 2002 in Bellarusian, they are I Made Gunarsa and Luh Gede Surya Utami, both achieved bronze.
But, since 2003 until now, the man who loves computer and painting has been trusted to be an ICT teacher and the coach of FCC to prepare for the National Computing Olympiads. The 2 most notable achievement of the FCC are Paul Gunawan and Leonardi who both achieved bronze medals at the National Computing Olympiads in Balikpapan. It is no surprise if Mr.Astawa Udayana as many achievements. His proudest achievement was when he got into the top 5 in the National Innovative Teachers Competition 2007, held by Microsoft Indonesia. The teacher who is also good at Biology hopes for everyone at foursma to be able to use ICT maximally, especially in the learning and teaching process
